On this programme, learners will develop a foundation of leadership best practice while exploring a wide range of topics such as legislation, finance, marketing, technology and team performance, including diversity and personal development. They will become effective communicators and valuable problem solvers, capable of leading their teams in an inclusive and productive working environment.

The Level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship is the first step in our leadership and management pathway.

  • Open cohorts start in February/March, April/May and September/October

Our Level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship, accredited at Foundation level by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) introduces the fundamentals of leadership for those looking to develop into an entry-level management role. This apprenticeship is perfect for brands who seek to increase team retention and motivation under strong team leaders who know how to coach and develop their teams in an inclusive, productive working environment.

On completion of this programme, learners will have gained a well-rounded practical, operational, emotional and managerial skillset to create leaders of the future.​ Apprentices will develop their compliance, sustainability and budget management skills and learn how to drive continuous improvement, optimise resources, and save costs.​ It is the first of three leadership and management apprenticeships in a pathway designed specifically to address the challenges and opportunities of the retail industry.​ 

The Level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship costs £5,000 per learner which includes End-Point Assessment.

Funding

Apprenticeships can be funded from your Apprenticeship Levy or by Government Co-Invest. If you do not pay the Levy, the Government will fund 95% of the programme, meaning you pay as little as £225 per person you enrol. We are also able to offer privately funded places for any employees not eligible for apprenticeship funding. For further information about funding options, eligibility and costs, please contact us.

Duration: 12 months

The Level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship typically takes 12 months to complete, followed by a period of end-point assessment of approximately 3 months.

Closed Cohorts

We can begin a closed intake apprenticeship at any time that suits your brand. We require a minimum of 10 learners to offer a closed cohort for Level 3 Team Leader.

Off-the-job learning is delivered through a combination of 121 coaching, full day and half day group workshops approximately every 3–4 weeks, which may take place online or in person.

End-point assessment

For the Level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship, end-point assessment is provided by EFI Awards. EPA typically takes 3 months to complete.

EPA includes Project and Presentation with Q&As, and Professional Discussion.
