Team Leaders and Supervisors are the first step on the management ladder, and help to drive operational success within your brand by effectively coaching and inspiring their teams.
On this programme, learners will build on a foundation of leadership best practice while exploring a wide range of topics such as legislation, finance, marketing, technology and team performance, including diversity and personal development. They will become effective communicators and valuable problem solvers in the business, capable of leading with confidence.

The CMI Accredited Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor apprenticeship is the first step in our leadership and management pathway.

Our Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor apprenticeship, accredited at Foundation level by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) introduces the fundamentals of leadership for those looking to grow their skills in an entry-level management role. It is the first of three leadership and management apprenticeships in a pathway in a pathway designed by FRA Business specifically to address the challenges and opportunities of the retail industry.
On completion of this programme, learners will have gained a well-rounded practical, operational, emotional and managerial skillset to create leaders of the future. Apprentices will develop a clear sense of self in addition to the knowledge, skills and behaviours to motivate others, drive performance and support business change.
The Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor apprenticeship costs £4,500 per learner which includes End-Point Assessment.
Funding
Apprenticeships can be funded from your Apprenticeship Levy or by Government Co-Invest. If you do not pay the Levy, the Government will fund 95% of the programme, meaning you pay as little as £225 per person you enrol. We are also able to offer privately funded places for any employees not eligible for apprenticeship funding. For further information about funding options, eligibility and costs, please contact us.

Duration: 15 months
The Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor apprenticeship typically takes 12 months to complete, followed by a period of end-point assessment of approximately 3 months.

Closed Cohorts
We can begin a closed intake apprenticeship at any time that suits your brand. We require a minimum of 10 learners to offer a closed cohort for Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor.

Off-the-job learning is delivered through a combination of 121 coaching, full day and half day group workshops approximately every 3–4 weeks, which may take place online or in person.

End-point assessment
For the Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor apprenticeship, end-point assessment is provided by EFI Awards. EPA typically takes 3 months to complete.
